yes this is annoying 15-23 now and im in work for triple exp day  need triple exp day when im off, missed the last three now |

Managed to get game going by uninstalling and installing new game from SO website.
but.......
after 3 hours, the game is so jerky, it is virtually unplayable.
Have installed latest graphics driver, and now I have white lines all over the place.
I am seriously thinking about ditching this game.
It was working perfectly before this update, and now I have an unplayable game.
I know it's probably something simple - but why should I spend my time sorting something out that's not my problem.
If you don't see me for a few years, it means I am not wasting my time correcting a problem that didn't exist in the first place.
An update should mean logical things like not having to put up with stupid weather changes from hole-to-hole. How many golf games start off in sunny weather on hole 1, and then have rain and hurricanes on hole 2?
If I can sort out my problems all well and good - but don't hold your breath.
I am not prepared to sort out problems caused by someone else.
It worked before. It's not working now. |

Upates took forever. I click "Start Game" and this gameGuard engine starts updating...I barely get chances to play and this time was ruined by updates... |

I'm having the same problem. I tried to do the updates for hours but kept getting errors and had to start all over. Hubby said he had to reinstall the whole game on his...unfortunately our internet service isnt great right now and that takes hours too. I'm hoping all of us will get this sorted soon.
Shell---- you better not get frustrated and scrap this game....we will come after you!!! lol  |

Panic over - you don't have to paddle across the 'pond' Doug!
After another 3 hours this morning uninstalling/installing, I decided to reinstall an old graphics driver (from January this year) - et voila, it worked!
For some reason, my latest Catalyst Graphics Driver from ATI has a conflict with the game.
I think it irresponsible of SO not to check out all the latest popular graphics drivers.
Sorry I ranted on a bit - but it was just so annoying.......

   This game is really getting on my nerves, first it takes me all day to uninstall game and then reinstall then make sure all my drives are up to date, I get it all done and get one day to play on the new course, now they are updating a server ? and I havent been able to log in all day, maybe I will just go back to playing albatross, not as fun but at least you can play a game or two.... |
