Hi Team,
Based on suggestions received. The following changes are being implemented for our Guild Ladder and Events.
Eternal Tourney
-Any Course can be played.
-Can play alone or with others. 18 hole stroke play only
-Screenshot of scorecard required.
-End of month, each player that submitted a minimum of 5 scorecards will have their top 5 scores averaged. The top 10 players will be awarded guild points in decending order. (1st=10 pt, 2nd=9, 3rd=8pt, etc)
-To qualify for the end of month award, a minimum of 3 different courses must be submitted.
Challenge Matches
-2 or 4 player 9 Hole Match Play
-Amatuers can play any course, Semi vs Amateur playes Random Course, Semi vs Semi plays Random or Pro Courses.
-All Players in the Match earn the following: Winner = 2pt, Loser = 1pt.
-Maximum 10 Round submission each month. More can be posted. Will count points for your best 10 submissions. Edited by Candy
Recruiting
Unless you know the recruit personally, please have a guild leader meet the recruit.
Amateur Recruit = 3 pts
Semi Recruit = 5 pts
Tour Pro Recruit = 10 pts
Extra Points awarded for the following:
-Get the recruit to make a post on the forum = 2 pts
-Get the recruit to participate in any Guild Activity = 2 pts
Guild Player Interaction
-Play with 12 different Guildies with a minimum of 4 Amateurs for the month earns 5 points. Must note this when you post your points for the month.
-Getting a member that doesn't currently participate on the forum or in guild events to participate earns the following points: Forum = 2pts, Guild Event = 2 pts.
Guild Tourneys (This is based on our basic Tourney setup)
-Screenshots required of scorecards
-Points awarded two ways to promote team play. 2 or 4 player, As a Team you must pair up with another player outside your division.
I edited here Candy. what is in red is incorrect, This setup will be used only when we have a specific Guild team tourney.
For all other tourneys teams will be assigned with highest level partnered with lowest level , 2nd highest with second lowest etc. these will be assigned after all rounds completed.
-Three divisions ~ // Under 35 // 35 to 49 // 50 UP
- Single high point top 3 each division awards: 10, 9, 8 (These are also PC Points)
- Teams high combined point system scoring award top ten : 10 descending
-(Point system: HIO - 50, Alby - 40, Eagle - 30, Birdie - 20, Pars - 10, No score others)
- All participants awarded: 5 points
Forum Participation
-Participation in the forum each week - 5 pts for initial registration, 1/2 pt each week for viewing forum. An additional 1/2 pt each week if you post on the forum. Edited by Candy
HIO/Albie
-Must have Screenshot posted
-2 pts each
Personal Leveling
-2 points for each Level
Testing
-5 pts for passing Semi. 1 pt for each attempt.
-10 pt 1st time pass TP Test. 1 pt for each attempt

At the risk of prompting a new blond joke, I will confess that I don't understand some of it:
-- guild tourny: for recent Pearl tourny, hasn't it already been counted or do I need to re-calculate according to the different scoring system described here?
-- forum participation: does "initial registration" mean a one-time thing, only when you first join? or first log on and/or first post each week?
-- do we each track our own visits to forum or can you do that? (sometimes I visit and view, but don't post anything). do posts count anymore?
-- completely lost on the challenge match scoring. example talks about "loss lower" or "win lower" (shouldn't win be higher?) and 2 pts loss or 4 pts win vs. instructions 1 and 2 pts.
Will we start this in October and stick with current system for September? |

Pearl is over and counted
Forum is 5 points initial registration then .5 points each week visited ... i can track this or you can
in challenge matches win vs lower or higher doesnt matter anymore.
2 points for win ,,, 1 for loss
the points candy used were an example of how to post your points and unfortunately an old one was copied which had old scoring on it ,,,sorry for the confusion |
