We've been asked by the Sultans-of-Swing-Guild about participating in a Guild vs Guild Tournament.
It looks fun and I'll outline the basic rules here.
The Tournament is played over 18 Holes in Stroke play
The way the Tournament works is based on 18 holes stroke play with a Guild Member from the other Guild & a Points System.
The Points System works as follow's:
Bogey or More 0 points
Par 10 points
Birdie 20 Points
Eagle 40 Points
Hole in One 300 Points
Albatross 500 Points
So remember if you finish 18 holes with a bad score (plus 1 or plus 20) you will still have scored some points over the complete 18
holes for your Guild.
The Guild Master from each Guild will play each other
1 Member from each Guild will play together you only play one round of 18 holes ( unless you are playing a game to make up equal numbers)
ie:- one Guild has 20 who want to play & the other Guild has 15 who want to play,
So the 5 members who play again from the Guild with the fewest members, their second-round points will count as well.
This way every entrant gets to play and no player is excluded.
Tournament's will be played on the Blue Server to help stop Disconnections because the server is over like the red & white
The Course
The Course for the Tournament will be randomly picked (in advance) from the 13 Courses. (Courses not included in the draw are the 3 Semi Pro & Random)
Who Can Play
Any Member from the two Guilds can play in the Tournament
The Tournament will be played over a weekend to be arranged starting on
Saturday 00.01 am to Sunday 11.59 pm all time Zones
A Screen shot of your Game MUST BE TAKEN by Both Players ( in case one player does not get it)
If you do not know how to post your screen shot please send it to your Guild Master or Your Tournament organizer
by Monday 11.59 pm all time Zones after the Tournament
The Winning Guild will be Announced by Wednesday 11.59pm UK Time.
The Winning Guild
After the end of the Tournament and all Screen shots have been posted by your Guild Master or Your Tournament organizer or By You.
The Guild with the most Points will be declared the winner of The Sultans-of-Swing Guild vs Guild Trophy
In the event of a tie the Guild Masters will play again the and the one with the most points will win the Trophy for their Guild.
These are the basics just to see who is interested, and as I find out more such as entrance fees etc. I'll keep you posted.
For now just reply to this post if your interested.

This sounds like a lot of fun!!! Who is the Guild Master for Sultans Club? We all need to decide what weekend works for us. I'm sure we dont want it on Memoral Weekend as I'm sure SO will have double days on that weekend. |

Club ,, I assume you will let us know details and give lists of who is playing.
Candy and i have decided that for all participating and posting screenshot of their round we will award one ladder point for every ten points earned in tourney.
C'mon folks ,, we can get more than 12 for this,,, Let club know here |
